Tapia / Malibu Creek (in Malibu Canyon) allows us to enjoy great outdoor
activities in the wide open spaces of the Santa Monica Mountains. Each
Tapia day may be different with alternate actitivities offered. In the
morning, campers may have the option to play a large group game such as
Capture the Flag or Seize the General. Or they may choose to explore and
catch frogs or crawdads with nets at the creek, or participate in the
arts and crafts project for the day. On other Tapia days, campers may
have the opportunity to choose a scavenger hunt, make ice cream, or
participate the in the ever-popular activity…Pieing!
At noon we serve our cookout lunch – complete with a marshmallow roast
(no need to bring lunch on this day!). After lunch we travel to Malibu
Creek State Park’s Rock Pool to swim and play in the natural swimming
hole.
